We were so lucky to have my sister Maria and her baby Kenley (who is 1 week older than Averi!) visit for the last week. We had a great time hanging out at the pool, going to the Diamond Backs game and who can forget...Shoppping!!! We got INCREDIBLE deals at the Anthem Outlets. They were pretty much giving stuff away for "free". We spend a grand total of 7 hours shopping in one day with two babies. We both attribute our shopping endurance to our mom. She raised us right! :) Then we went to Scottsdale Fashion Square and spend 83 cents! (Maria did anyways, I spend like $4). The babies liked each other but I wouldn't exactly say they are best buds yet. Maybe in another year.

Baby Doll
Averi can't NOT lay like this when she is drinking her bottle. Legs are always folded up like that...so cute!
Sophie and Meiko are shedding lie crazy lately with Summer on its way. This is a little Meiko hair ball that flew onto Sophie's magnet-like nose.
Averi has discovered the "baby doll" (Thanks to "Aunt Kristy" for giving this to her for Christmas!). I think she thinks it is a real life person. It's so cute because she is always really interested in it and wants to touch its face and hands.

St. Louis!
I had the opportunity to go to St Louis with my "other mother" Nancy last week for a few days. We visited Rob, Jen, and their cute family (Doug's Bro and sis-in-law). It was SOOO fun getting to hang out with them. We got to see Bryce get baptised and little baby Chase get blessed. It was awesome. Averi never quite got used to having to share the attention with another cute baby though.

Bathroom Re-Model
So over the last few weeks I have been slaving away on the esthetic appeal of my house. I have done the guest bedroom, the master bedroom (I will post pics of that as soon as I get around to painting my bed...I've decided that painting furniture is a much more daunting task than painting walls!) and now I have finally finished the half bathroom downstairs. When we bought the house, the bathroom was plain boring beige with absolutely NO personality... and no bead board panelling! Now it just looks AMAZING!!! (ok, maybe not THAT amazing but pretty good nonetheless) There are a few minor flaws of course but overall I thinkI did a pretty good job. I will definately chalk this up as a great learning experience. I made several trips to the Home Depot to get supplies and ask stupid questions to workers that I hoped I would never see again. When I admitted to a worker that I didnt know how to get the Liquid Nails out of the container and tried to push it out with a hammer handle, he then asked me where my husband was and if he was aware of this project. haha!! He then proceded to show me what a calking gun is and where to find one. Even though he made me feel pretty stupid, he was really nice and was a huge help! Anyway, he

Life is Rough
Doug and I looked a Averi when we realized she hadn't been making her usual squawks and cute baby noises. This is how we found her: fast asleep in her high chair with her head FACE DOWN on her tray. Poor thing was exhausted. Ps... look at those long skinny feet! Not your typical chubby baby feet. :)
