Friday night Doug and I went to the Phoenix zoo to see their "Zoo Lights". Most of the animals were asleep or put away but the whole zoo was decked out in lights and was so gorgeous. There was a light show where the lights on all the trees in a certain area would flash and twinkle to the sound of the music too. It was pretty captivating. There were camel rides (which we both wanted to go on, but figured we would look a little ridiculous riding with all the 5 year olds), Lots of food (which we held off on since they were charging $6 for a hot dog), and of course, Christmas music! So romantic :)

(This was the first time I was able to wear a turtle-neck)

Mini Thankgsgiving Feast

Since I was only cooking for two for Thanksgiving, everything looked miniature.

Our friends Samara and Eddy found two little kittens on the side of the road Sunday night when they were on a walk. Their neighbor said that they say someone drop off a box of kittens on the side of the road and drive off. (they tried caling the cops but were unable to get a license number). Anyways, we went over to see them late that night and decided to take one of them home. :) We had been wanting to get a cat for a while but just couldnt decide when and where. So the decision was made for us! Sophie and the cat (dont know if its a boy or girl for sure yet), get a long pretty well. Sophie tends to be a little rough with it but overall is pretty good. The kitten is only about 6 weeks old. Sad to think someone just dropped it off on the road!

Doug's Hole in One!!

Doug made a hole in one back in May and got his name in the paper for it.
He thinks he's pretty good now. ;)
