Avers and Daddy

Averi does this cute little thing with her hands. For some reason it is just comfortable for her to hold her thumbs in between her index and middle fingers. It is so stinkin cute.

Halloween!

Grandpa and Nammy came to visit (and Grandpa finally got to meet lil Averi) last week. We had so much fun with them here and they were such a huge help with everything since I have recently gone back to work. (notice the shelves Cliff and Doug put up in the back of the garage). We miss them already!

Averi went trick-or-treating for the first time in her young life. She went with her buddy Braxton and they had quite the blast. They were pretty tuckered out by the end though!
Averi's first Halloween Candy! Too bad mom and dad ate it all! Skeleton outfit Grandma Hendricks gave her. You can tell by the picture that she is stoked to be wearing it :)

Sophie got to go too in her princess coat. She was pretty annoying most of the time but at least she had fun. The other trick-or-treaters liked her too.

She got her bottles filled with candy a couple of times!

Brax and Sophie were pretty entertained by each other. They were so cute to watch.

Californ-I-A

Doug and I went to California for a week and had a great time with Averi (and Sophie). This was her first trip aside from Grandmas house.
Dinner at a Ventura pier restraunt
Averi napping. Oh so sweet.
While we were there I got to meet up with bff Clarissa in Beverly Hills. It was a blast, even though we couldnt afford anything on Rodeo Dr. We gave the babies a break in the park. Colby is so cute!

We went on a few walks on the beach which was gorgeous! Averi loved it and fell asleep in her stroller every time. Sophie, on the other hand, was very excited at all the new sights and smells. She was terrified at the waves at first (see the look of horror in her eyes) but then she warmed up to them and got really disgusting with sea water and sand. Luckily there were outdoor showers nearby which Im pretty sure was the worst part of the whole trip for her.

Janese and Kaly!

We were SO lucky to have Aunt Janese and cousin Kaly come visit us for a few days. We had SO much fun and it was sad to see them leave. We spent our time shopping, swimming, and going to the AZ Science Center.
We even got to spend some time with Nammy (Grandma DeGraw) since she was staying at a Phoenix time share with a friend. Cant wait till she comes again at the end of the month! :)

Trip to Boise!

Doug and I got to go to Boise last week to Bless Averi with her cute cousin Kenley and spend some time with family. We had so much fun and were sad to leave. My parents always make sure there is a greeting at the door for us when we visit, but since there were so many people coming, the door was a little plastered!

On our way to church to bless Averi

Averi all dolled up...
and ready to go! My mom and my sister and I (and the babies) went shopping, then out to dinner for my birthday at the Cheesecake Factory. It was loads of fun. Luckily they didn't sing to me! (and yes, they spelled my name wrong,...what's new) Doug back in his Wranglers to get his ridin' on! He is a true hick at heart.
Some cute pics of Averi and her adorable little cousin Kenley. We are pretty much planning on them being besties since they are only a week apart in age.

Twinners!

In their blessing dresses and oh so sweet

"What's the matter Kenley, talk to me?"

Parents Mission Call!

For those of you who didn't know, my parents have long been awaiting their mission call (to serve an 18 month LDS mission) and yesterday IT CAME! They were called to serve in Sydney, Australia on Jan 11. I guess that means I better start saving up so I can come visit!

More pics

Doug's mom Nancy ("Nammy") came a week ago to help out and meet our little addition. It was so great having her here and we were sad to see her leave.
Sophie got pretty curious wondering what the big fuss was about...
Averi's first trip to church

All dolled up for church. She was a good little thing and only got fussy at the very end when it was time to go.

If I don't feed her right away when she is hungry, she will start chomping on her hands. It's a good thing she doesn't have teeth yet!
