Welcome Home Averi!

So turns out the hospital was really backed up on their inductions and never did get around to calling me to come in. LUCKILY I went into labor all on my own! It started on Monday night when I noticed mild contractions coming on pretty regularly. On Tuesday (still no call) they were getting more intense and closer together. By midafternoon they were getting pretty uncomfortable. We wanted to speed things along so we went to the mall to walk around (in the comfort of air conditioning). I ate some kung pao chicken (spicier the better!). Then we went to the hospital at 6pm to see if they would let me stay. My contractions at this point were about 4 minutes apart and were geting pretty bad so they let me stay! At 12:27am she made her big debut! Everything went very smoothly and I didnt feel a thing thanks to the miracle of the epidural.
Happy as a clam after my epidural :)

official weigh in: 7lbs 3oz , 19.5 inches long

Welcome home baby!
