Parents Mission Call!

For those of you who didn't know, my parents have long been awaiting their mission call (to serve an 18 month LDS mission) and yesterday IT CAME! They were called to serve in Sydney, Australia on Jan 11. I guess that means I better start saving up so I can come visit!

Doug's mom Nancy ("Nammy") came a week ago to help out and meet our little addition. It was so great having her here and we were sad to see her leave.

Averi's first trip to church

All dolled up for church. She was a good little thing and only got fussy at the very end when it was time to go.

If I don't feed her right away when she is hungry, she will start chomping on her hands. It's a good thing she doesn't have teeth yet!

8/3/09 Averi had her first doctors appointment today. I was happy to hear that at 5 days old, she had actually gained 2 ounces. She is a pretty good little eater so Im not shocked. 8/1/09 - Averi and Grandma Hendricks.
Doug and I were lucky to have my mom come visit for a few days which has helped trememdously. She is a great baby and hardly ever cries but it is still nice to someone around to tell you what is normal, give advice, and also constant support. 8/1/08 Averi's first bath!
