An Early Christmas

Since we were going to be in Utah for Christmas we decided to open presents and have our own "pre-Christmas" celebration. We had "Christmas Eve" a week before the real one. Doug and I each read a Christmas story and then let Averi open a couple gifts. One of which was Christmas PJs of course. Here is Doug reading and Averi opening her PJs. She gets just as excited about clothes as she does for toys. Its so cute to watch.

Here is the scene Santa left for us on "Christmas" morning. He brought Aver a pink camp chair, a kitchen set, and a mini soccer ball. She loves all of them. Here she is sitting in her chair while playing with her kitchen.

Here is our stash of gifts... That's right Doug got me a KitchenAid Mixer. I was completely surprised and of course SO excited. :)

Here is Averi playing outside with her chair and soccer ball. Later on our "Christmas" day we went to the mall for a lazy shopping stroll. Averi had fun on the little carousel in the middle of the mall.
